Fish Protein Could Help Prevent Parkinson's, Says Swedish Study

Although it is a known fact that Fish Oils do contribute to better health, a Swedish study wanted to investigate a possible link between fish protein consumption and better long-term brain health. Protein structures called Alpha-synuclein are closely linked to Parkinson's disease, data from this study suggested that fish protein blocks the formation of these protein structures, helping maintain good brain health while preventing Parkinson's. Although the study is based on structured evidence, the researchers believe there is still a long way to go until it can be proven that fish protein works effectively for better brain health.
